The Geo is exactly the same on the Carbon and Alloy bikes. I have spent time on the Carbon Fury as well as the Alloy fury and I have found that they feel extremely similar if not exactly the same! The Carbon does seem to absorb the high frequency 'buzz' that Alloy frames have when hitting stutter bumps and rougher faster sections. I didnt gather this from riding around in a car park - I have ridden these bikes on DH trails here in SA, spending a lot of time on the Cascades WC course. One other thing that I found was; I ordered a Large Alloy Fury (I am 6'4") and when measured against the Medium Carbon they are almost exactly the same in length (Top Tube measurement), which was quite strange. The Medium Alloy is roughly an inch shorter than the large alloy. Keep this in mind if you are fussy about fit.

The knee braces he is putting on in the beginning are POD knee braces. If you have had knee problems in the past then i would highly recommend them - they are pricy though!!! http://www.podmx.com/

I am so chuffed to see that he will be the 'Lead' rider. He always seemed to be second fiddle - but his time has come!
